The Cinnamon Club Retro Menu Arrives in Richmond

5th March 2026
4:32 pm

For the first time, the Retro Menu is travelling across the Collection, giving diners the chance to experience the dishes that helped shape The Cinnamon Club’s story. From 26 May to 8 June, Cinnamon Bazaar Richmond will host its own stop on the tour, bringing a taste of Westminster’s culinary history to our vibrant corner of south-west London.

The Retro Menu is a journey back to where it all began. When The Cinnamon Club opened in 2001 inside the historic Old Westminster Library, it set out to challenge perceptions of Indian food in London by combining traditional spices with the best British ingredients and refined cooking techniques. The result was a menu that helped redefine Indian fine dining in the capital. And for two weeks in Richmond, you will be able to experience some of those defining dishes and flavours that started it all.

The Retro Menu on Tour

The Richmond stop forms part of a wider Retro Menu tour across the Collection. The journey begins at Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea, moves on to Cinnamon Kitchen City, before arriving in Richmond and eventually returning home to The Cinnamon Club for one final run later in the year.

For Richmond diners, this is your chance to experience the dishes that helped shape one of London’s most celebrated Indian restaurants … without leaving the neighbourhood. Whether you’re a long-time guest of The Cinnamon Club or discovering these dishes for the first time, the Retro Menu offers a unique glimpse into the origins of the Cinnamon story. Tables are expected to fill quickly, so we recommend booking early.
