The Bombay Burner Is Back

Once hailed as the UK’s spiciest curry. Back in its original form. And absolutely no attempt to behave itself.

Ten years of Cinnamon Bazaar calls for a few surprises. And while some of our anniversary celebrations are all about nostalgia, generous feasting and old favourites, this one comes with a rather different kind of warmth.

The Bombay Burner is back.

Once hailed as the spiciest curry in the UK, this infamous dish returns to Cinnamon Bazaar Covent Garden in its original form, with the same unapologetic heat that earned it its reputation in the first place.

And at £14, you might think you’re getting a bargain.

But as we always say, at a Bazaar, you should expect a little more than you bargained for.

How Hot Can You Handle?

As the evenings get colder and London’s winter chill begins to settle in, we’ve found a rather effective way to warm things up.

The Bombay Burner isn’t your average curry. It’s fiery, full of flavour and certainly not for the faint-hearted. Made with lamb mince, ghost chilli and peas, it’s a dish that takes its spice very seriously.

Think you can handle it?

There’s only one way to find out.

Yes, There’s a Waiver. No, We’re Not Joking.

Well, perhaps a little.

The Bombay Burner comes with its very own ‘You Were Warned’ form, which every brave diner must sign before taking on the challenge.

It’s our rather playful way of making sure you know exactly what you’re getting yourself into.

There may be sweating. There may be tears. There may be immediate regret. And there will almost certainly be someone at the table insisting they could handle it better.

But that’s half the fun, isn’t it?

Ten Years of Bazaar. One Very Fiery Comeback.

As Cinnamon Bazaar celebrates its 10th anniversary in Covent Garden, we’re bringing back some of the flavours, stories and experiences that have made the last decade so memorable.

And few dishes make quite an impression like the Bombay Burner.

So gather your bravest friends, bring your appetite and prepare to put your spice tolerance to the test.
